(Can you believe that this was the best picture I could pull together???)
Gavin, Nathan, and I are obsessed with the Running Sausages. Quinn is too, she just doesn't know it yet. It's our favorite part of the Brewer's Game - The Sausage Race!! We are always talking about who is what sausage, and who we are rooting for to win the race. Well, I decided for Gavin's Brewer's party that I wanted the kids to really have a chance to be Running Sausages!
(I bet you thought we were done with Gavin's birthday. I told you I was going to run it into the ground.)
So . . . it was a great idea . . . in theory. I put a sausage on each shirt front.
And then put the kiddos names on the back.
Don't they look cool!?!?! I used this iron transfer paper.
And I followed all of the instructions. But as soon as I put Quinn's onesie on, her name ripped apart on the back. Girl's bulky shoulders just ripped it to shreds. So I thought maybe I hadn't let it set long enough before putting it on her. But then this is is what happened to Gavin's Chorizo.
Poor Chorizo. Lost his face. I even printed off the washing instructions and packaged them with the shirts all cute.

Where did you finally get the pictures of the sausage. If you have seen this message already, disregard this!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine scanned a t-shirt for me (Thanks Andrea!!!!), and I used to paint to painstakingly make the edges around them somewhat clean and white. There is for sure a better way, but I haven't discovered what that is yet.
