Put A Bird On It {First Attempt at a Sewing Project}

Look at my first completed sewing project!!  It's a tag blanket shaped like a bird for Quinn!  I'm fairly certain you were wondering.  All the hip babies have things with birds on them.  And Quinn is nothing if not hip.
This is the back of him.

Sadly the psychotic chicken bird has a slightly deformed psychotic florescent pink eye.

Note to self: You are not advanced enough to sew around tiny circles.  But good job not impaling yourself with the needle!!

The poor bird also got a broken wing the first time he was washed.

Ummm . . . sewing through ribbon is hard, okay?

And his belly stitches are coming undone.

But all that really matters is that Quinn loves him, right??

You do love it, don't you, Quinn?

She thinks about it . . .

"Hey Mom!  Did you see this???"

{I take away all other toys so she is forced to love the psychotic chicken.}

"Are you happy now, Mom?"

Yes!  She's chewing on it!  The baby seal of approval!!

"Hey look at this blue footed giraffe toy!  He is delicious!!"

Sigh.
