Our Samoa Milkshake is a really easy milkshake inspired by a Girl Scout Cookie favorite! Want the grown up version? Make our Samoa Martini.

This week I hit 32 weeks, so we are officially two short months from my due date. {Cue the stabby music from Psycho because I’m freaking out about how ill prepared I am.}  My pregnancy complaint list pretty much grows daily. When I was pregnant with Gavin I told everyone that I looooved being pregnant and that I would do it over and over again. #idiot

Now, on pregnancy #4, I’m over it. So I thought it would be fun to compile a little list for you. {Keep in mind that this list was kind of hard to compile because there were so many TMI items that had to be left off.} #yourewelcome

You know you’re in your third trimester when . . . .

. . . three cheeseburgers seems like a light dinner.

. . . you want your six year old to learn to tie shoes, so he can tie yours.

. . . you walk into a room and can’t remember why you went in there . . . and then you leave only to walk back in because you remembered . . . . ooo, no. You forgot again.

. . . only getting up to go to the bathroom once in the night feels like a win.

. . . when you stay awake past 10 you sort of feel like a rock star. An extremely tired rock star.

. . . you miss your feet.

. . . your cute maternity clothes are starting to feel a little . . . snug. You know, like a wetsuit snug.

. . . your desperation for spring has less to do with being sick of winter and more to do with not being able to zip your winter coat.

. . . you can use your belly as a shelf for snacks while sitting on the couch.

. . . sometimes you spill your snacks all over yourself because your youngest won’t stop kicking the shelf.

. . . you’re considering buying stock in the company that makes Tums.

. . . you definitely deserve a milkshake. Or eight.

This milkshake kind of speaks for itself. It’s inspired by the delicious Samoas Girl Scout Cookie, but you don’t actually need any to make one. So you can make this delicious shake no matter how far you are from girl scout cookie season . . . or if you happened to not quite order enough boxes of samoas.

This milkshake is sooooo good. And I definitely deserve 8.

You deserve as many milkshakes as you want lady!! Pregnancy is tough business! This is pretty fantastic Lisa! I need a good excuse to have several myself!

  2. Jocelyn (Grandbaby Cakes) says

This milkshake is seriously fantastic!!! I’m in love!

  3. Dorothy @ Crazy for Crust says

Yeah, I kind of hated being pregnant…with just my one. That’s why there are exactly 3 pics of me pregnant and one is from really far away. :)

    This milkshake. You deserve 6!

  4. Brianne @ Cupcakes & Kale Chips says

Oh my gosh, I spilled stuff on myself all the time when I was pregnant. And this milkshake is kinda making me wish I were in the 3rd trimester of my first (non-gestational diabetes) pregnancy so I could drink about eight!

  5. Julianne @ Beyond Frosting says

This milkshake is so amazing! But you list, just makes me laugh! I have never been pregnant, but the closer in age I get to 30, the less eager I am to start having children.

  6. Cathy@LemonTreeDwelling says

Hahahaha! I love your list….I’m sure I could add some to it, but I’ll spare you my complaints on top of yours!! I could drink one of these milkshakes every night and feel GREAT about it….I adore Samoas and ice cream!!
