This Lightened Up Apple Cider Dip is a flavor packed dip without all the calories! Cut it in half and use a spoon for a lighter dessert for one! Thanks Yoplait for partnering with me for this amazing recipe!
I’m not kidding when I say that the title of this post was a HUGE dilemma for me.
Okay, on the one hand you have what I think is a pretty sensational fall party dip. Watching football with friends? Make this dip. Having the ladies over for wine by the fireplace? (Yeah that’s my leisurely life too) Make this dip. Having the kiddo’s friends over for pumpkin carving? MAKE. THIS. DIP.
But!! And I cannot stress this enough, I would never be able to serve this as a dip.
Why you ask?? You know that episode of Friends where Joey screams, “Joey doesn’t share food!!” (Is it weird that I’m pretty sure I’ve quoted that line at leas two times before on my blog?) That’s totally me. I totally would not share this dip at all.
Maybe if I was in a generous mood I would.
Maybe.
Because the beautiful thing about this dip is that it starts with some Yoplait Greek 100 Caramel Apple, which on it’s own is really good, but then you pile it on top of some sautéed cinnamon apples and it is down right amazing. You hand me a cup of this and a spoon at the end of a long day and I’m a happy happy girl.
Half of the dip recipe below comes in at roughly 200 calories. Not at all bad for a delicious dessert for one that makes you feel like you actually had dessert!
And therefore I probably should have named this post: Amazing Apple Cider Dessert Bowl for Lisa and Only Lisa. Not catchy?
But you are probably nicer than I am and will make it as a dip for your friends and family. ;)

Joey is so wise. I think he’s the smartest character on Friends. And definitely the cutest. :)
Dessert all for you is also wise. I wouldn’t share either!
