I’m so happy to be partnering with Jennie-O to bring you this amazing dinner salad! My family loves Jennie-O and we appreciate you supporting the brands that make Wine & Glue possible!

So my most incredible amazing thoughtful husband took me to see Hamilton for my birthday earlier this month! (If you don’t know what Hamilton is, google it and then listen to the entire soundtrack five times and then come back. Kidding. Sort of.)

Guys. Since going to see it I have been listening to the soundtrack non-stop. I’ve been googling things about Hamilton’s life. I’ve been looking up different people’s interpretations of the songs in the show . . . . I think it’s fair to say at this point that I’m totally obsessed. Like if I miss a day listening to the soundtrack, it’s like my brain knows and I wake up with one of the songs in my head.

I’m so obsessed, in fact, that when I look at these photos of this amazing Cajun Cobb Salad, only two things happen: I crave eating the salad again (like ASAP) and I start thinking about Hamilton. Because I was listening to the musical while I was making this. #obvi

CAJUN COBB SALAD RECIPE

This seriously delicious Cajun Cobb Salad starts with some Premium Portions Hickory Smoked Cajun Style Roast Turkey Breast from Jennie-O. If you haven’t tried any of their seasoned turkey breasts, you should! It was their Sun Dried Tomato Turkey that I used in these Italian Pesto Sliders that are all the rage.

You guys, I practically had to padlock this turkey to get him into my salad unscathed because that’s how much Nathan likes the flavored turkey breasts from Jennie-O. (Their Cajun turkey is also crazy amazing in this Turkey Bacon Brie Grilled Cheese Sandwich!)

CAJUN COBB SALAD INGREDIENTS

After you grab your turkey, you want all the normal ingredients for a cobb salad, like avocado, bacon, blue cheese, deviled eggs. I threw in some bell peppers for more of a Cajun vibe, and they were a perfect addition.

  • cajun turkey
  • hard boiled eggs
  • red and green bell peppers
  • bacon
  • avocado
  • blue cheese
  • tomatoes
  • romaine lettuce

CAJUN COBB SALAD DRESSING

Top it all off  with some homemade Cajun Ranch Dressing. This dressing is so fast to throw together and it brings all of the flavors of the salad together perfectly. For it you will need:

  • buttermilk
  • sour cream
  • mayonnaise
  • garlic
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • cajun seasoning

I promise you that this salad will be just as addicting as Hamilton.

Off to listen to Quiet Uptown for the three millionth time.
