Sooooooo . . . . Do you guys remember the other day when I told you about the shower I was throwing for my brother and sister in law . . . . and I told you I was going to give you TONS of printables in a fun upcoming post?
Yeah. So. I lied.
I totally forgot how hard it is to throw a party in your house with three kids. And then I REALLY forgot how hard it is to do all of that and take pictures of all of it. So in theory, I have all these things that could be printables for you for a party, but I have no pictures of them in action, lol!
But! Instead I have this amazing Balsamic Dressing Recipe for you, and honestly, the vast majority of you should appreciate that a whole more than a post on an ABC themed baby shower. Don’t you think? I threw this together literally minutes before the baby shower was starting and it is super delicious. I got the recipe from Epicurious. Though I thought it needed a little something, so I added a teaspoon of sugar and I used Honey Mustard instead of regular. It was delicious!
Then I threw together a salad with some mixed greens, red onion, reduced feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives,and cucumbers. Yummy! This is the perfect side for all of your grilling recipes this summer!
Perfect Balsamic Dressing
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 TBSPs honey mustard
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- Combine all ingredients in a mason jar and shake.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
