Happy Friday, my friends!
First. I want to apologize. The post that I published on Wednesday, my Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars, were published early in the day before I was scheduled to change hosts of my blog (technical stuff you don’t need to worry about). When the transfer was done Thursday evening the post was **poof** gone! And somehow everyone from Facebook and Pinterest who wanted to get the recipe was sent to my Cuban Stromboli, a delicious recipe, but not Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars. I’m so sorry guys, that must have been really annoying and frustrating. The recipe is there now, and I have already had readers make them, love them, devour them, and reconsider their own work out plans 😂
Got that out of the way.
Now we can talk about this amazing homemade Bloody Mary Mix recipe!
I love this recipe because it makes a big ole pitcher of Bloody Marys! You can set it out at brunch next to a bottle of your favorite vodka and let everyone pour their bloodies. You guys, how have I never thought of this before? I have hosted brunches where we are spending forever making individual Bloody Marys and it is such a pain. I love this plan so much more. Plus! You can put out some Jalapeño Infused Vodka next to it and people can have a smokier, spicier Bloody Mary if they want!
The best part of this Bloody Mary mix is that is has only a few simple ingredients!
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST BLOODY MARY MIX
- Mix up all the ingredients listed below in a big pitcher.
- Set out next to a bottle of vodka and allow each person to mix their own.
- Have a bucket of ice and garnishes, like pickles, celery, and olives, next to the mix.
- I recommend 2 ounces of vodka to each serving of this Bloody Mary Mix. This mix makes 6 servings.
WHAT IS IN BLOODY MARY MIX?
- Tomato Juice
- Lemon Juice
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt & Pepper
- Tobasco Sauce
Can you believe that’s all that it takes?? Guys, no need to buy Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix ever again.
I’m absolutely positive that Bloody Marys are my very favorite part of brunch. But in Wisconsin, they are also a huge part of game day and tailgating. Because in Wisconsin we figure out how to incorporate a delicious cocktail into just about everything 😉 If you need another great tailgating cocktail, you definitely need to make my Summer Beer!
OTHER GREAT BRUNCH DRINKS
I love my Mimosa Margarita as a fun alternative to a regular mimosa. But this Grapefruit Champagne Cocktail is another great option to serve next to your breakfast casserole.
If you are looking for something non-alcoholic to serve at brunch, make this Caramel Drizzle Frappuccino. Of course if you want your coffee and your whiskey then you need to make this Irish Coffee Recipe, or even more fun these Irish Coffee Shots.
Happy Brunching my friends!
